MAUREEN (MAYNE) DUPONT  grew up in the village of Cotuit on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She attributes the natural beauty of her childhood environment as her inspiration for becoming an artist. Throughout her lifetime, Maureen has followed her appreciation of nature and the light that illuminates it to beautiful places throughout the world. She has lived and painted in Europe, Hawaii, California,  Colorado and Florida. Her instinctive love of color and light, motivate her artistic expression which shine through in her vibrant impressionistic style. Maureen's preferred medium is acrylics, but she has also used oils, watercolors and pastels to capture the beauty of the world around her.
